This project involved designing a new landmark for London. I took my inspiration from the London Eye, but wanted to create a landmark that performed a useful function, as well as just being interesting. Therefore I decided to combine a way of crossing the Thames, while getting a view at the same time, and came up with this "ride". Cars get pulled along a track by cables, up and over the river. In these pictures you can see my experiments with wire and plastic tubing, learning how the shapes would work in 3D.
